| Introduction | My interests are many, my knowledge deep, yet I know nothing. I write to illuminate... Human Beings are incapable of knowing Reality because, in principle, the electromagnetic spectrum is infinite and continuous and we sense only a tiny portion of it. Of that, we run the information through a culturally constructed perceptual filter which edits our perception via our preprogramed subconscious. The mangled product of that process is then passed to the conscious mind which further distorts things. Consequently, we live life in a constant consensual illusion, not reality. Our Reality is much like the shadows on the wall of Plato's cave, only a rough approximation of the truth, if that. |
