| Introduction | I'm 27, married to a wonderful man, and a new mom to our amazing son, Harrison. I started this blog as a way to document my desire to help others, especially my amazing, life-changing trip to Kenya. That trip is over, but the memories and life lessons attained there are with me every day. Hardly a day goes by that I don't think of my adventure there. Now that I am home (and a new mom) this blog will change a little. It will still be about the importance of helping others, but it will also serve as a way for me to document and share aspects of motherhood. I hope to share my views in an open-minded way. These are my views and opinions and feel like every family dynamic is different. What works for me and my family won't necessarily work for yours. I believe in doing what's best for you and your family and not worrying about what others will think. I'm struggling with not caring what others think, and I am sure that will be a topic I discuss here. Basically, I want my readers (if there are any!) to realize that these are my opinions/beliefs, I'm open to others, and I don't mean to offend anyone with how I feel. I'm just here to have fun and share my experience. |
