| Introduction | Born in 1973 in Rochester, N.Y., Artemisia Coyle is a writer, wanderer and alien bounty hunter currently residing on a rock off the coast of Spain. Coyle's early memories are seared with the shame and humiliation of watching her father turn to drink after his attempts to take on city corruption were crushed by the infamous Rochester Machine. The late Thaddeus Coyle was reduced from a rising star in the Rochester PD to a jaded private investigator, specializing in mob divorces. After Thaddeus ate his own gun in '89, Coyle began working at the local steel mill to support her grieving mother. The mill closed for good in '93, but Coyle remains a loyal member of the United Steelworkers. She blogs about writing, life and her seven Irish water spaniels. |
