| Introduction | For as long as we can remember we have wanted to retire early and travel throughout the U.S. fulltime in our RV. In October 2010 that dream became reality. After more than 25 years as a lineman and field construction coordinator with TXU Electric Energy, Mike "retired" and founded a successful home repair business. In 1991 Christine became a registered nurse, working in the hospital and home care settings as a nurse manager. In July 2009 she retired from the Medical Center of Plano. In the summer of 2009 the Shields sold their home, settled into their 5th wheel trailer, and accepted work assignments at Thousand Trails/Lake Tawakoni. Mike accepted a fulltime, highly challenging position of Maintenance Supervisor while Christine assisted on a parttime basis in the ranger station. Both Mike and Christine retired from their positions at Thousand Trails October 2010 to begin traveling fulltime. |

| Favorite movies | Our tastes vary greatly. I like romantic comedies, "feel good" movies, and dramas. Mike leans towards adventure, sci-fi, and "testosterone" movies (big explosions, big boobs, women in hi-heels shooting guns. |
