| Introduction | I am a Dutch-Portuguese artist, born in Lisbon in 1954. I devote this space to my collage work. For each individual piece I create a series of unique monotype prints. After cutting out the desired shapes I apply them to a canvas or a piece of paper. My favourite subject is nature. The scenery is either fantasised, or created using a photo as reference, mainly my own. I yearn for my landscaping to be more complete, by including animals or the suggestion of animals and my own perception of reality. |
