| Introduction | The process of life assessment is one of the benefits of middle age. I have had a great first half but I know I have more to learn, more to grow, and more to give. Before I applied for graduate school I spent a year in appraisement of my life determining how I wanted to proceed. Equipping myself began with education. People ask me why I would want to go back to school now and the answer I give is "No education is wasted." However, the answer to "Why now?" is less scholarly. I can be 50 years old with master's degree in a fascinating field or I can just be 50. I chose the former. |
