| Introduction | I can't write a public blog any more. My kids are too old, my ministry too involved, and my need for privacy too real. I am writing this blog to remember what it's like to live in this period of "early empty nest" -- and beyond. I am writing to make myself put feelings and reality on the page, because I have to write and talk about a "sanitized" version of my life in public. I can't be duplicitous any more. I need to write from the gut. So. This stuff is real. Raw. Probably embarrassing to me or my family at some point.... But I live and write as God leads me... and I follow imperfectly. My reflections are reactions are mine alone. |
