| Introduction | I am a middle-aged (I hate that term) nursing student with many interests. I am married to a wonderful man who has been the biggest blessing in my life, and I have two bum dogs that I adore. I live in the great state (okay that's a lie) of Texas which my husband, a native, fondly calls the greatest country ever. Texans can be rather proud and pompous at times. |

| Favorite movies | Hmmm. How long can this list be? I have too many favorites. I love classic movies, westerns, sappy love stories, comedies, documentaries, and dramas. I feel like good film makers are artists. I can't help myself. I love a good film. |
| Favorite music | Again, there are too many genres to choose from. I love rock (modern, classic, and oldies)country (especially classic country), classical, opera, gospel, bluegrass, folk, etc. I don't particularly care for jazz or hip-hop, but there are a few of those tunes that I can tolerate and even like. |
| Favorite books | The Four Loves, Living, Loving, and Learning by Leo Buscaglia, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Catcher in the Rye, The Confessions of St. Augustine, No Man Is An Island by Thomas Merton, and many others. |
