| Introduction | I believe in living life out loud. And by that, I mean not settling. Finding joy in the everyday. Being authentic. Deliberate about choices. I think the people who know me best, would describe me as genuine, passionate, funny, strong, engaging, compassionate. I value my relationship with God. I know He has my back, and a great plan for me, so I use that to guide me. My family is also incredibly important to me. And by family, I mean my four children (yes, I'm a mother of 4), as well as my parents, siblings and rest of my extended family. Since separating from my (now ex) husband of 13 years in May 2010, I have experienced an incredible metamorphosis. I have tried to capitalize on the experience, to take what I've learned, and use it to jump start what is meant to be an extraordinary life for me. This blog represents my journey, through my eyes, and it meant to share what I'm going to do differently, because of what I've learned, and is in no way blaming others for where I am today. It is about me taking responsibility for learning from the life I've had, and taking that learning to create the life I want. |
