| Introduction | Jeremy Pond boasts a wealth of experience and knowledge in regard to the game of golf. An avid player and follower of the LPGA, PGA and European tours, Pond spent many years reporting on the game at various levels. Pond was an award-winning sports writer/columnist in New York from 1995 to 2005, working at the Oneonta Daily Star and Gannett News Service-owner Poughkeepsie Journal. He was named the New York State Associated Press Writers Association's top sports columnist in 2001 and runner-up in 2002 for our circulation. Pond also finished third in the 2003 competition. Pond took his skills to Las Vegas in 2005, where he spent four years working as a sports writer, columnist and copy editor at the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Pond continues writing for various publications as he works as an independent publicist for athletes, celebrities and resort properties across Las Vegas and the country. His favorite players on the professional tours are Phil Mickelson, Ian Poulter, Hunter Mahan, Paula Creamer, Grace Park and I.K. Kim. |
