Introduction	A native Texan, I first hit Asian shores in 1985, and, except for the two-year period of 1988-90, when circumstances led me back to The Lone Star State, I've been here ever since. Just another Westerner who came out East for a year's fling -- then fell in love with the place, the people, the life . . . and I reckon this is where I'll end my days.
Interests	My interest range from science to photography to travel to literature to international affairs to . . . well, just about everything, in one way or another.
