Introduction	I'm a grad student studying English and a college writing instructor. My husband and I live in Milford, ME, which features two stores: a general store/game inspection station, and a junk store that is only open maybe twice a year. That pretty much sums up this region of Maine. ...Wait, you asked about me, not ME. Whoops. Well, hey, that's what this blog is for, right?
Interests	Poetry, linguistics, my family, banjos and fiddles, crafty things, my husband, farmers' markets, thrift stores, vegetarianism, hikes, mountains, shoofly pie, jasmine tea, exploring Maine, moose, baking, my trusty Camelbak, and the unfortunate lack of parallelism in this list.
Favorite movies	The Life of David Gale, It's a Wonderful Life, Harvey, Across the Universe, To End All Wars, Fight Club, Amelie, The Prestige, A Very Long Engagement, Babel, Sweeney Todd, American History X, The Princess Bride, and most movies by Tim Burton or Werner Herzog.
Favorite music	Johnny Cash, Peter Sarstedt, Jack Elliott, Bruce Coburn, John Prine, Regina Spektor, Josh Ritter, Dar Williams, Lisa Hannigan, Damien Rice, Sigur Ros, Glen Phillips, Alexi Murdoch, Kings of Convenience, Madeline Peyroux, Rufus Wainwright, etc.
