| Introduction | Since this blog is going to be mostly about my gaming stuff, I'll just tell the story about my gaming life. I have been playing games since I was about 7, when my dad got us an Atari 2600. I immediately took to it, and my dad was blown away by the fact that I figured out how to hook it up to the TV before he did (can you remember RF hookups? I can) we didn't have another system in the house til we got a NES for Christmas, and that was the beginning of the end for me. I was hooked. Years later, I was in awe of this marvel called Xbox, and my wife got me a launch box the Christmas that it came out. Mr. Gates had me. Popped in this game called Halo (mind you, I HATED FPS's with a passion) and was amazed by the story, the graphics, the gameplay. H2 came along, finally picked up a XBL account, thought to myself, why did I waste 50 bucks on this, and was saved by Geezergamers.com's Bungie article. Started up GGSE with Furgus and Carrot, and the rest is history. Now we are well over 100 members strong, and gaming has reached an all new greatness for me. |
