Introduction	B.S. Art Education, New Mexico State University, Former High School Art Teacher, Retired Director of Christian Formation, St. Mark's on the Mesa Episcopal Church, Beautiful rocks, skies, horizons, light and shadow all lift my heart and encourage me to try and capture that feeling in my watercolors. An artist all of my life, I have learned to love watercolors for their ease of use on rafts trips. I love change! Well, with the possible exception of changing my hometown and moving 22 times before I was in high school while growing up as an Air Force brat. But changes in programs, furniture arrangements, interests, friends, garden design, etc. I find to be invigorating.
Interests	Gardening, rafting, set design, ministry with children, interior design, entertaining, reading- including most fantasy literature (especially J.K. Rowlings writings),and of course artwork of all kinds..mine and other artist's work.
Favorite movies	Baby Monitor (featuring my twin granddaughters as the single baby), Days of Heaven, The Piano, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Avatar, all of the Harry Potter movies.
Favorite music	Classical music, ballads, some country western, blue grass
Favorite books	"Angle of Repose", "Secret Life of Bees", "The Book Thief"
