| Introduction | A descendant of Jacques Mete' dit Ladoucer who is interested in all things pertaining to my ancestors, especially the Metty family.I was born on a farm 1 and 1/2 miles south of Currie, MN on 14 April 1939. I grew to adulthood in the Currie area and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary School for twelve years. Following my graduation, I worked in Minneapolis for about a year before entering the U. S. Coast Guard in 1958. I spent 23 years serving in the Coast Guard, retiring in 1981 from the Coast Guard Institute, Oklahoma City, OK. |
