About me

Introduction I was born in sections. Part of me arrived in July of 1961 and the last bit dribbled out in September, 1967. As you might know, these were heady times in the realm known as Packerland. Vince Lombardi had turned a once-proud franchise that had fallen upon very hard times into one of the most dominating teams ever to trod a football field. So my love of the Packers was woven into my DNA from the get-go. Even through the Dark Times (the 1970’s and 1980’s) my fandom never waned. Sure, I dabbled in other teams, had a brief fling with the Steelers, but I always came back to my first love. Once the Wolf/Holmgren/White/Favre era began, I was there, waiting to welcome all those fans who had wandered away into the wilderness over 20+ years of futility. Then the rest of the world discovered the REAL “America’s Team” and the faithful of Wisconsin (and beyond) were justified in their pride and patience. And we’ve never looked back.
