Introduction	WHO AM I: You could well ask? Even I don't know at times. I like to think of myself as individual, but like the rest, having a blog just makes me like so many others. So in all this confusion I am a local birder on the Suffolk coast in Lowestoft. Which in birding terms is still a great place to be even after 35 years. My birding started at the age of 11 years when I was reported to the police for trapping wild birds.(Naughty boy) only to find myself belonging to what was then the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. From that age I was trained as a ringer under General Wainwright at Abberton Reservoir in Essex. It was all hands on and very cold.But as with so much in life I found out about other birds, but the interest was always there. Still the same I suppose except that life has moved on and what makes me what I am is I still find myself haveing a conversation with God when I am out there. So I do claim things about faith and Jesus and to some I am known as a vicar who is interested in birding. I do good funerals though. Perhaps that's why I have called it more than a wing and prayer. But, a BLUE SKY.
