| Introduction | I was born in San Mateo, CA friday the 13th, May 1955. That day broke the curse. Was raised in the heavenly valleys of beautiful British Columbia, enjoying the warm Osoyoos summers, luscious fruits and vegetables of the Sunny Okanagan and clear sweet waters of the Kettle River in Christian Valley. Got married and had 3 children then she divorced me. I had to leave my beloved family; I lost my love, my three beautiful babies (ages 3,5,7) and my peaceful home. I went back to school at BYU, Provo, UT. I was waylaid by an angel, Sharon. Within 8 months I found myself remarried. Yep. That was Sharon. That was a hard time for us all - one angry man going to school and missing his 3 children, 5 angry children fresh out of a divorce, one distraught woman trying to make everyone happy. Not the best of situations to start but we meant it when we said "I DO!". Divorce was not an option. Besides, I had received a confirmation from Above that I could trust her. I must have done something good because all the kids call me "Dad" from time to time. Sharon and I are still married after 18 years. I love her more than words can tell. |
