| Introduction | Some think us weird. Maybe. We've lived on a boat since 1997. We never retired, we just quit and went cruising. When we run out of money, we pull in somewhere and get work. We're old enough to be on Social Security now, so we hope we don't have to work anymore. We'll see. We've been married for over 43 years. I could be wrong, it might be 42. I'll have to check with Suzi. Nope, she says I'm right; it's 43. We've sailed down to Florida four times, to the Bahamas twice and at this writing, we're seeing the Chesapeake Bay, until it seems wise to head south again. We have three wonderful children, Scott, who lives in California and recently got married to our favorite daughter in law, Amber. He's a photographer / photo-journalist. Tara, with husband John, live in Maryland and are both teachers. She teaches 7th grade language arts. John teaches German. Colleen is married to Will and they also live in Maryland. Colleen is an architect and Will is general manager of a very successful restaurant. |
