| Introduction | I grew up in small cities all over the state of Texas. Army brat you may ask? Nope. I was a high school football coach’s daughter. I have been to more than 250 high school football games in my life. Many would say that makes me an expert in the field of Texas high school football, but it also has exposed me to the storied traditions that take place in this great state every Friday night. It is impossible to impress upon you what it is like to be present at a game, but I will do my best to explain my obsession. |
