| Introduction | I am a teacher at the International School Groningen (English and Theory of Knowledge) and NHL Hogeschool in Leeuwarden (English, literature, American Studies, and whatever else I'm asked to teach!). I have two-four children (two of my own, a foster daughter and a teenage cellist who's living with us now) and a husband who's a dentist and also teaches dentistry in Groningen. I'm American by birth, and met my Dutch husband when I was serving in the Peace Corps in Malawi in the mid-eighties. |
