| Introduction | I emigrated to Germany from Boston in January 2009. I have lived in California, Massachusetts, and Delaware in the US, and am currently located just outside of Hamburg in Germany.
I have an academic background in landscape architecture and urban planning and design, but I am currently focused on learning German and taking care of my two-year old daughter. I expect to continue with a career at some point, but I am still figuring things out on many levels. Not the least of which is what I actually want to be when I grown up. In the meantime, I garden, I cook and eat foods both strange and wonderful (no gluten, no dairy, mostly no eggs or meat with a few exceptions), I knit, I learn German, I try to be a good Mama, and I try to update this blog at least once a month. I have aspirations to more, but will leave it at that. |
