| Introduction | Dr. Desjardins has been an elementary and middle school teacher, a school administrator, a reading consultant and a professor of English at a college in Florida. With that background, she loves to create interesting reading that engages children from preschool through middle school. Dr. Desjardins believes, it is important for both boys and girls to learn the importance of leadership through reading well-written stories that engage their imagination. The Danger Girl Series highlights a teenage girl as the lead actor and heroine. With three children scattered around the globe, and nine grandchildren, she has plenty of people to help solve all the mysteries she could possibly think up.
