| Introduction | Charles grew up working in a variety of small retail businesses owned by his family, in Columbia, Tennessee. He received his BBA in Management and MBA from MTSU. Charles has worked as an Training Consultant for Terminix and Operations Training Leader for SERVPRO. He has been the Director of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Volunteer State Community College since 2007. In 2009 he was recognized as the TSBDC State Star, in 2011 he was named as one of Sumner County's Most Influential People by the Tennessean, and in 2012 was awarded the Business Champion Award by the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce. Lastly, and most importantly, Charles is happily married to his wife Sarah and is the proud father of three kiddos, Ava, Lilly and Lane. |
