| Introduction | I am a 38 year old homemaker also known as mom or mommy to SEVEN kiddos aged 14 down to brand new! I have been married to a great guy that supports a lot of my interests and activities. I have been married for 17 years (phew) and life has not ever been boring since! *wink* |
| Interests | Reading (in my spare time-LOL), playing and doing art projects with my kids, painting, recreational activities, shopping....oh yeah baby! Oh and did I mention I love love love Halloween. I'm a sorta freak when it come's to that...Obviously with seven children I find time to stay in shape (heh heh heh) and helping to support my husband and children in their endevours. I love to garden, pick fruit, make jams, peruse the farmers markets. We used to have chickens and I loved them! I would love to have several more chickens and maybe even a cow or two. Right now we live in the "burbs" and it's not me. I like domestication (don't get me wrong!) but I also love the "Country Life". If I were to have a dream life, I would purchase an old school building and move it onto a piece of property just outside of town (near Eagle) and have a bed and breakfast (just for family and friends) and have a huge pumpkin farm/corn field that showed scary movies on a giant outdoor screen during the weekends in September and October. Yeah, maybe one day when I win that lottery! |
| Favorite movies | Is there a genre for crazy 70's drug movies? I love Quinten Tarintino movies (I know-NUTS) Loved Boogie Nights (with hottie Wallburg) and Pulp Fiction, Goodfella's and The Departed. Perhaps it is the music that gets me sukered in? I also like 80's flicks like the Gremlins, Pretty in Pink, The Shining, Top Gun ...you get the idea. |
| Favorite music | I can listen to almost anything! I am a fan of anything from Metallica, Foo Fighters, Kiss, Destiny Child/Beyonce along with Mary J. Blige. I love R&B and Jazz...I love to listen to Jazz to go to sleep. LOL I am really into Van Morrison and Stevie Ray Vaughn. I listen to Kenny Chesney and George Strait. All time favorite is probably Eric Clapton and Red Hot Chili Peppers. |
| Favorite books | I am so pathetic in that I just can't read fictional stuff very often. With that said, I love "Baby Catcher". It was very moving. I also like reading Dave Ramsey's books and Larry Winget's books (harsh but witty). My most recent reads were "Still Lolo". I loved the spiritual references in the book! I couldn't put down the book "Bloom". I swear I cried every minute I read that book! I'm almost finished with the book "Waiting for Adam".So pathetic is that my favorite book is The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. LOL. I am a mommy through and through I guess. |
The hair from your last haircut ... what would it say about your new style?
My new style? Geeze, I NEED a new style. My hair is semi long, although with all of the grey hairs (from my children) I need to dye, it seems the color changes weekly!
