About me

Introduction	I am married to a phenomenal man (he'd have to be to marry yours truly), I have the sweetest (and most ill-behaved) dog, I adore my friends (OND is my oldest, nearest and dearest friend), and I love my crazy family (we're so functional, we're the new dysfunctional). I rarely take anything seriously and often make jokes about inappropriate situations. Sue me. I'm no MD, but I do know that laughter is the ONLY medicine for completely shitastic situations. I am an ex-public accountant, and relish that "ex" part of my resume (do you know what it's like to take a seemingly decent salary, divide it by the ridiculous number of hours worked, and find out that you make less than a Walmart greeter? Because I do. Don't even get me started on the student loan-to-professional-salary-ratio). I curse like a sailor. One of my brother's first words was "shitfire" which has always been my mother's expletive of choice, so obviously I inherited this sailor's mouth and will make no apologies for it - sometimes you can't fight genetics. When at home, I only drink wine out of my Waterford. Because someone was kind enough to buy it for me, I'm sure as hell going to use it.
