Location | David Thorne, Northumberland, United Kingdom |
Introduction | Born in Hexham, England, David spent most of his childhood in South Africa and Namibia, returning to the UK when aged 13. He went on to study at City of London Guildhall University and the University of Northumbria where he gained a degree in Politics. After University he briefly paddled in the murky shallows of local Politics. David has suffered a variety of jobs, including house painter, graphic designer, book seller, civil servant, mortgage co-ordinator, train conductor and finance director. He hopes shortly to have a major best seller, to support the lifestyle to which he would like to become accustomed. He lives with his wife Kirsty and their two cats, Lexi and Molly as well as three Mac computers. They hope to add a new Macbook to the family in the not too distant future. David will be embarking on a second degree in English Literature this Autumn, with the ultimate aim of gaining his PhD. He is well known as a grumpy bugger. |
