Introduction The first 50 years were a blast. I hope, if the Lord grants it, the next will be even better! If not, it'll still be a grand life I had, most of it with the Lord of my life for the gifts He presented to me.
Interests God and the impact He has on people, my lovely wife, Judy, and then there's always trains
Favorite Movies Anything with a train in it or lots of sweat. Actually, any story that has depth; that makes you walk away with a lasting impression on your mind. Movies that have an undercurrent that speaks louder than the dialouge being spoken. Movies such as Pleasentville, Cool Hand Luke, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Chronicals Of Narnia, Chariots Of Fire, Ordinary People, just to name a few. And then there's just stuff out there for escape purposes, comedies (smart ones, not this teenage garbage out there filled with bathroom humor...OK, Mel Brooks is the exception), any westerns or even a good thriller like "The Sixth Sense", "Unbreakable"
Favorite Music Southern Rock (Is there anything better than 70's classic rock?) old hymns, and some bluegrass
Favorite Books Anything written by C S Lewis. I have recently read the first two books of "Perfect Stranger" series, Dinner With "A Perfect Stranger: and "A Day With A Perfect Stranger" but I came across a book that really reignited my passion for freedom, "A Case For Democracy" by Natan Sharonisky.

Why? Why not?
