| Introduction | I am married going on 25 years this November 2009 to my beautiful bride Sunny. We got married while I was stationed on the USS Salt Lake City in Newport News Virginina. Shortly after getting married my submarine had a change of homeport to San Diego California. The move was very traumatic to Sunny since she had never lived outside of Virginia. She/We grew to love San Diego. While in the Navy, we moved numerous times (too many to count). We hae two daughters, the eldest is Katelyn and the youngest is Clare. They are both just awesome blessings to us. I retired from the the US Navy (Submarine Service) in January 2001 and moved my family to Bel Air, Maryland for a job at Bethlehem Steel. We would have prefered to stay in Yorktown but no company would hire me for what I was making in the Navy. The comment was, you get a retirement check. So we moved. Bethlehem Steel filed Bankruptcy so I looked for and took a job with Con Edison Development as a Plant Manager of their Power Plant in Rising Sun where I worked ther for 5 years. I then took a job with Chevron and moved to New Market, MD. in July 2007. This blog picks up from there. |
