| Introduction | My mother's ancestors are from the city of Kashan, and as all Iranians know, Kashi people are characterized as "fearful" people!!! :-) As the story goes: "If you curse at a Kashi man, he won't answer you right there, but once you leave, he will go up on the rooftop and will shout out "right back at you"!!!! (in Farsi: haa pedar-sookhteh ham khodeti)!!!! :-) This is why I wish to remain anonymous, and I use a pseudonym in both my URL address and in my email address. I left Iran more than 20 years ago, and all these years, having lived half-way across the world, I am not very familiar with the actual state of people's daily lives in Iran. At these globally unstable and dangerous times, I have decided to share my thoughts and concerns here, with anybody who cares about Peace and Global Harmony.
