| Introduction | RA 24 SENPAC was founded in 1995 by Mark Houghton and Mike Bell. With Mark filling the PAC posts of Regional Organiser and Liason Officer it was left to Mike to act as Treasurer and Membership Secretary. The new region proved to be quite popular with a quickly growing membership. Mark was awarded PAC Pike Angler of the Year in 1998 for his outstanding efforts in the North East, by which time SENPAC had achieved what was probably its largest membership, but unfortunately Mark had to resign from the organisation in 1999 due to personal circumstances. Mike Bell took over the role of RO which he has maintained to this day. The club meets on the evening of the last Tuesday of every calendar month at the Northumbrian Piper, Red House Farm Estate, Fawdon Newcastle, which is just off the A1. ( NE3 2AH). We organise monthly piking trips, October to March every year, as well as other events and competitions throughout the rest of the year. If you already enjoy your pike fishing or would like to try it for the very first time, then we at SENPAC would be very glad to see you. You can be assured of a very friendly welcome. |
