| Introduction | Hi! My name is Barbara. I took my first tole painting class about 15 years ago and was hooked. I find that painting is very relaxing and theraputic for me. I have taught my style of tole painting to different decorative painting chapters and have enjoyed teaching and learning from my students. My father makes all the frames that I use for my artwork. So if he is not making frames, he is out tearing down a barn to use the wood or looking for lumber that has been discarded. I have a very supportive husband and two great children, a girl and a boy, that have helped me at local craft fairs and usually don't mind when dinner is late as long as I am "receiving therapy"! |
