| Introduction | I love art, of any kind, but I especially love color and the beauty it brings to the senses. My hobbies have always involved working with color, whether it be sewing, knitting, decorating, or fashion. I've also always envied anyone who could paint - something I never pursued because I assumed it required skills which I didn't have. But recently, with an empty nest and time on my hands, I went to a painting class at the invitation of a friend, and at the end of the evening, I had a decent painting to take home! Maybe I could learn to paint! I was at least confident enough to sign up for weekly classes and explore the possibility. That was in October, 2014, and I quickly became obsessed! I hope you enjoy reading about and seeing my art as I pursue my new passion! |
