Introduction	I'm a crazy liberal married to a soldier. I love to cook and write and read and draw and sing and walk around outside pretending I'm the outdoor type. I live in North Yorkshire, England, after having lived in Anchorage, Alaska. I'm originally from South Carolina. Someday I will create a recipe combining all those places.
Interests	Reading. Cooking (not baking). Walking in the woods on pretty days. Rambling obsessively to my husband about my cracked-out theories of the history of language and how it relates to the history of music; arguing with my husband about art. Cat wrangling. Doodling in the margins. Studying the Episcopal Church and my place in it. Parsing faith, religion, reason and compassion. Despairing for the human condition. Getting red-faced and sweaty (and not in a fun way) on the treadmill. Singing in a choir, singing in the pews, singing in the shower, singing in the car. Driving a little too fast on winding country roads.
