Introduction	To some people time spent searching for, chasing after, watching and even just talking about birds seems futile, but for me and many others it is a deep seated passion that brings joy, fulfilment, inspiration and relaxation like no other pastime. I have over 40 years experience of watching and finding birds in Norfolk; I've seen over 370 different species in the county and have found a number of scarce and rare birds over the years. I've also spent many hours watching birds further afield in the UK and also in France, Israel, Turkey, Thailand and California, USA.
