Introduction	I was born in Atlanta, Ga. A Grady Baby. :) I was raised to always be conscious of the world around me, esp as it pertains to Africa, Africans and her descendants. I came to Africa when I was 13yrs old under the instruction and care of Sheikh Hassan Cisse (RA). As a part of the Sheikh's household I was exposed to African culture but more importantly I was exposed to sufism and a deeper love and understanding of Islam. After completing my studies in the Quranic school I eventually married and have thus dedicated my time and energy to helping the education of the young children in this community and the American students that come here to study Quran. May Allah accept our efforts.
