| Introduction | I have been a Close to My Heart Consultant for fifteen years. The line includes acrylic stamp sets, scrapbooks, cardstock, background/texture papers, ink pads, markers, embellishments and more. I truly enjoy the card-making, scrapbooking and preserving memories for my children and grandchildren (by the way there are 8 of them!) I recently retired from Adams Central Community Schools, where I served as Corporation Treasurer. I was at Adams Central for nearly 29 years where I enjoyed the challenges of payroll, budgeting, personnel and more. I miss my Adams Central family, but now I have more time to spend with my Close to My Heart work. Six and one-half years ago I lost my husband of 38 years to Leukemia. Rick was the joy of my life and all who loved him miss him still. He was a Godly man who worked hard and enjoyed life to it's fullest. His favorite saying was "Every Day is a Gift". Each day I, too, try to make the most of the day God has given me, and by stamping and scrapping I am able to have a creative outlet as part of my everyday walk with God. |
