| Introduction | I graduated with an art education degree in the midst of teacher layoffs in the early 1980's. That lead me to pursue my second interest, emergency medicine. I became an EMT, got bit by the EMS bug, and gradulated from paramedic school in 1985. I have worked in urban, suburban, and rural settings, and have gained something from every experience. The best thing about my field is constant change and advancement keeps us from ever getting bored. I've been teaching paramedics since 1989. |

| Favorite movies | Comedies and adventure movies. There are too many great ones to pick an all time favorite. Depends on my mood. |
| Favorite music | No favorites, just depends on my mood. The only music I don't like is Gregorian Chants and Rap. |
| Favorite books | I haven't done much recreational reading in many years. I've been reading mostly textbooks. |
