IntroductionIm a reserved(sometimes), quirky, creative(ingenious even), tempermental, intellectual(hmm...ok, im a nerd) with a short attention span (um, huh?) and little focus(not true anymore. now i have a general idea). I am a well-balanced young woman that some either find "too good to be true" or simply a fence stradler because I can see both sides...Money is only important to me because I need it to pay my bills, otherwise I do not base my happiness or success in life in dollar signs. I am currently working on my B.S. in psychology and writing so that I can eventually become a clinical diagnostician and work with learning disabled children.
Interestsschool, school, and uh...oh yeah, homework (yes, it is my life), listening to music, watching t.v., writing, reading, painting, arts and crafts, um...idk a bunch of boring, nerdy crap like...sudoku!!!! (i have a strange affinity for #s), wanna learn to sew (queen wisdom got me green ova here w/ her skills lol), bellydancing (it's a recent thing), african-american history, religion, cultural arts, and some other stuff i can't think of now.
Favorite moviesThe Little Mermaid!!!!! I don't care what anybody says, that movie was awesome! lol ok, I also like documentaries, horror flix, uh...shoot! I just drew a blank. I'm not a big movie fan, but I'll watch a horror flick or a real-life documentary. I really think Hollywood is stretched for ideas(ok, it's repackaged, regurgitated tripe..and the tickets are expensive!) , and I'd prefer to write my own script then watch anymore junk.
Favorite musicAnything and everything(so true). Classical(beethoven, anyone?), Reggae(roots, mostly), Neo-soul(is soul new?), R&B(old-school), Hip -Hop(if it's conscious), Jazz, Doo-wop(forgot to add rock, and no it's not white people music).... As long as I'm feelin' it, it's good music.
Favorite booksMy first love people. For a long time I used to love science fiction and young adult fantasy and horror books. R. L. Stine was my man(yeah baby!). Then a friend put me on to L.J. Smith and V.C. Andrews(remember flowers in the garden?--of course not cuz it was actually flowers in the attic. why i'm just now noticing my faux pas though...idk). Now I prefer horror and any nonfiction books like bios, true crime, religion, cultural studies, etc. Love Stephen King and Bell Hooks(that's my girl! 'ain't i a woman' is the ish y'all). Every now and then I get caught up in certain pop-culture and historic events, so I pick up books on subjects like the slave trade, Titanic(no the movie ppl), Studio 54, etc. I also love poetry and artists like Langston Hughes, Jessica C. Moore, and Saul Williams.

Paper or briefs?

Lol @ this being the most decent question after 8 tries...Since I like to write and you never know when inspiration will hit I would have to go with paper.
