Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
While tongues may get dry, I've never experienced the sensation of thirst in my tongue. It's more in my throat. Also, since sponges live in the water, I find it unlikely that they get thirsty either. I also disagree that sponge is a frequently misspelled word, but I bet misspelled is.
