| Introduction | I am working on a PhD in cultural anthropology. Between 2013 and 2014 I will engage in a year of empirical research (aka fieldwork) on issues of food insecurity and health in the rural savanna region of Ghana. In past lives I have worked as an outreach worker and advocate for food and health access issues in rural and urban contexts in the US and abroad. In future lives I hope to continue to use my inherent curious spirit alongside my skills as a designer and implementer of research to explore and broadcast findings on the complex relationships between economic processes, food, and health. |
