| Introduction | I am a 24 year old graduate nurse from Nashville, TN of Aquinas College. I will be moving to Chinandega, Nicaragua in February of 2010 to be a missionary for at least a years time. I will be working for a non-profit organization called "Amigos for Christ", where I will be able to minister to Nicaraguans while providing health care for them. I am excited to apply the nursing skills I have gained while in school and working as a nurse extern in a level one trauma unit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center over the last 2 & 1/2 years. I am also hoping to patch up the gaps in my Spanish so that I may serve an even broader population in the United States. I look forward to devoting this portion of my life to the poor of Nicaragua and partaking in this unique opportunity to evangelize to the truly impoverished of this world.
