Islamabad is a wonderful place to watch birds; situated as it is at the base of the beautiful Margalla Hills and on the migration highways of many species. Each season brings new birds to the areas around the city as others depart. I hope, in some small way, to generate interest in the birds of Islamabad and the surrounding areas.
