Introduction Michael Johns is a health care executive, co-founder and national leader of the U.S. Tea Party movement, and former White House speechwriter. Michael has two decades of executive and senior management experience in multiple components of the global health care industry, including pharmaceuticals, home health and specialty pharmaceuticals, and medical devices and supplies. In February 2009, Michael was one of several co-founders of the U.S. Tea Party movement, one of the largest grassroots political movements in U.S. history, founded to defend adherence to the U.S. Constitution, limited government, and lower taxes. Michael has also served as a senior aide to a Governor and U.S. Senator, a Heritage Foundation foreign policy analyst, and as a White House speechwriter to President George H.W. Bush.
