Introduction I'm a keen gardener which is probably in my genes as all my siblings enjoy it to some extent, my father was a keen fruit and veg grower, and my mother loves her garden which seems to be a constantly evolving project. Myself and my darling husband have transformed our city garden which itself is delightful with a cottage garden feel to part of it, a rockery made up of reclaimed concrete path and an ever evolving shady patch! We have been growing veg in the garden for the past three years but as ever it is not big enough so this is where the allotment comes in. I have just taken tenancy of a half plot and it is as naked as an allotment plot can be i.e. mud. over the next few years we hope we can use the allotment to grow bigger vegetables which require space as well as some fuit which also wouldn't squeeze satisfactorily into our strip of a garden. Other than gardening I particularly enjoy cooking hopefully with more and more of our own produce.
