| Introduction | I am a wife and mother to Matthew, a delightful and intelligent (I am trying very hard not to be biased) 8 year old boy. My husband and I adopted Matthew when he was 15 months old. He came from a foster family that was wonderful in every way except one - they NEVER read to the children. I was horrified as I am, literally, addicted to reading. It took about a year before Matt truly enjoyed being read to. I am happy to say that he loves books now and is excited to be reading by himself. |
