Favorite Movies city of angels, say anything, garden state, anything cohen brothers especially-hudsucker proxy (big favorite), fargo, barton fink, also woody allen especially small time crooks, annie hall, alice, purple rose of cairo, some kind of wonderful, pretty in pink, american splendor, the hours, mystic river, eat drink man woman, austin powers, clerks, fahrenheit 911, bowling for columbine, when harry met sally, ferris bueller's day off, i also like star wars and lord of the rings movies a lot but I'm not obsessed with them like my significant other is....
Favorite Music Replacements, billy bragg, liz phair (the old good stuff), weezer, pixies, sublime, johnny cash, nina simone, nofx, beastie boys, the sounds, nickel creek, the cure, operation ivy, face to face, bruce springsteen, mel torme, louis jordan, joan jett.
Favorite Books Mostly knitting books and magazines (stitch and bitch, interweave knits, sally melville's knit series, knitty.com, knitting witout tears) and cookbooks and cooking magazines (cooking light magazine, bon appetit, gourmet, martha, paula deen's cookbooks, and rachel ray for easy stuff for weeknights) The Beauty Myth by Naomi Wolf, The Hours, You Can't go Home Again, Me Talk Pretty One Day and Mystic River.

Which is easier to make a model airplane out of and why: a banana peel or a wet sock?

Why bother with model airplanes? Dry the sock, frog it and knit it all over again.
