| Introduction | Born during WWII, the daughter of a lawyer who later became an executive in the US Space Industry. In my youth I earned a proficiency certificate in Ecological Conservation from the NJ State Conservation Dept's Jr Program in Stokes State Forrest. During 1964-65, while on an extended stay abroad, I was sent to an agricultural experimental station in a remote part of the Negev region where my main job was pruning and maintaining grape vines with a part-time, occasional assignment working as a Bedouin liason. My roommate was a female student Arabic interpreter. I have a bit of background in Journalism via Columbia University J School's Student Journalism Training Program from Jr High through High School. My declared area of focus was Features. I have an interest in Stories. Like many others, I was galvanized by the events of 9/11 which accelerated my acquisition of computer skills and activity on the Internet. Categories: Culture and Humanities.
