| Introduction | I was born and raised in Beijing China and graduated from Tsinghua University, one of the most prestigious schools in the country. I came to the United States for graduate study and earned my master’s degree at the University of Connecticut. Now I live in Salem on the North Shore Massachusetts with my husband and two children. In January 2009 I established Panda Land in Salem, an enterprise in which I teach Americans in private Chinese lessons and classes with the mission of helping people to gain knowledge and skills to connect to China. From January 2007 through August 2008, I lived in Paris, learned French, met French people, and experienced the French way of life. I traveled extensively with my family all over France and Europe to experience European culture. Before that I had a twenty-two-year career as a software engineer.
