| Introduction | I am a lawyer with experience in Australia and Asia. The clients I work with are in many industries, but particularly in infrastructure, engineering, energy and renewables, finance and information technology. My legal practice is mainly relationship focussed. What I mean is that my strength is working on a day to day basis with clients, their problems and their opportunities, rather than only practising the law from transaction to transaction. Working as a practice group leader for a major firm in Hong Kong from 2001 to 2004, I gained valuable knowledge and experience in the laws of all countries across north and south Asia. I have strong knowledge and expertise in corporate investigations, executive engagements and separations, transactions particularly where large or complex workforces are involved and general corporate law. I am also an experienced litigation lawyer particularly in the areas of employment, directors' liability, insurance and product liability. I am a recommended employment lawyer as published in the Asia Pacific Legal 500, 2011/12, following similar recognition when I was based in Hong Kong. |
